First Day

So this is what my life has been leading up to. This is it. Understandably, I am a little more nervous than I thought I'd be, but eh. Putting that aside, I got my first long-term job today! I am now working at a laboratory for research and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm really more of a language person myself, but I'm sure it'll turn out fun anyways. I need to get my things before I leave. Today is really nice outside, even though a ton of birds out. You know, after the first 4 or 5 years living here, you basically get used to the birds chirping constantly.  Loud and annoying? Unfortunately, but it is what it is.

Rising up early every morning is something I'm not quite used to yet. Eh, sort of. Since I left my part-time job, I may have slept in for a while. Three more minutes, 10 more minutes, all the way up to, "Flagnabbit, it's 3 in the afternoon!" Hmm... I guess that's over now. Even typing this up is a little odd for me. Mostly in part due to the fact that I don't go on the internet often. I mean, the internet really hasn't changed that much since 19 years ago, right? ...

Nevermind, I'll just leave for work.
